Welcome to our NEW online permitting portal, where you have access to our online services for permitting.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us during business hours (M-Th 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-11:30am ) at 781-585-0500. Not all pemits can be applied for through the portal. Single family, renovations, additions and similar permits must be submitted in person or by mail.

How to start a new business account:

1. Click the Go button on the Business Portal tile from the citizen portal.
2. Click on the Create a new business account option under the Start a New Business panel.

Adding a new business license on the citizen portal:

1. Click the Go button on the Business Portal tile from the Citizen Portal.
2. Select the business you would like to manage from the drop-down menu under Manage My Businesses. Then, click Go.
3. Click on Add a New Location. This will open the Business License Application wizard.
